Job Description

We are seeking a qualified, passionate, and experienced Arabic Teacher to join our academic team in Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Arabic language instruction, support students’ linguistic and cultural development, and contribute positively to our educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Arabic language lessons (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension) for students across grade levels (or according to institute’s structure)
  • Develop lesson plans, curricula, assignments, and assessments aligned with educational standards and students’ proficiency levels
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
  • Monitor, track, and report on students’ progress; provide feedback and remedial support where needed
  • Incorporate modern pedagogical methods, multimedia resources, and interactive exercises to enhance learning
  • Encourage cultural awareness and appreciation of Arabic language, literature, and heritage
  • Communicate with parents/guardians (if relevant), attend meetings, and collaborate with other staff members
  • Participate in school/institute events, workshops, curriculum reviews, and continuous professional development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Arabic Language & Literature, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
  • Proven teaching experience in Arabic, preferably 3–6 years (or more, depending on seniority) — could include school teaching, language institutes, tutoring, or similar roles
  • Strong command of Modern Standard Arabic; familiarity with local dialects (Gulf/Emirati) is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage and motivate students of different age groups
  • Good classroom management and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, assessment design
  • Adaptability and openness to modern teaching methods (interactive learning, online tools, blended teaching)
  • Patience, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to promoting Arabic language and values
