Technical Maintenance Executive

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Maintenance Executive to oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational efficiency of technical systems, equipment, and facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure all technical assets are functioning optimally, preventive maintenance is performed regularly, and downtime is minimized.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance & Operations

• Monitor, inspect, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and technical systems, including HVAC, generators, elevators, networking, and IT infrastructure (depending on company requirements).
• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
• Diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot equipment failures, and implement effective solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance services.

Planning & Documentation

• Prepare maintenance schedules, logs, and records of work performed.
• Document technical issues, repairs, and preventive measures for audit and reference purposes.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, regulatory requirements, and maintenance protocols.

Technical Support & Coordination

• Assist internal teams with technical support and equipment operation guidance.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and facility managers to plan maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
• Monitor inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials; raise procurement requests as needed.

Quality & Safety Assurance

• Ensure all maintenance work adheres to quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Conduct regular inspections and recommend upgrades, replacements, or system improvements.
• Participate in safety drills, audits, and emergency response planning related to technical systems.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify recurring issues and propose solutions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Stay updated with emerging maintenance technologies, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or related Engineering field.
• 2–7+ years of experience in technical maintenance, facility management, or related roles.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, IT, or telecom systems depending on scope.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems.
• Strong documentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and respond to emergencies promptly.
• UAE driving license preferred (for site visits).
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
