Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Site Engineer to oversee and manage on-site construction activities in Umm Al Quwain. The ideal candidate will ensure that project work is executed according to design specifications, industry standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. The role requires strong technical knowledge, site supervision abilities, and effective coordination with project teams and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily site operations and ensure work is completed according to approved drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site labor to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly site reports.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Review technical drawings, identify discrepancies, and communicate required changes to the project manager or design team.
  • Assist in preparing project documentation, including method statements, site measurements, and progress reports.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials and coordinate with procurement teams as needed.
  • Resolve site issues and provide technical guidance to workers and subcontractors.
  • Liaise with consultants, clients, and internal teams for project updates and approvals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in construction or civil site engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, site execution, and construction methods.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
  • Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards and site compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with structural, infrastructure, or building projects.
  • Familiarity with project management software or ERP systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • UAE driving license (preferred).
