Carpenter (Furniture Factory)
Job Description
A reputed furniture manufacturing company in Bulgaria is hiring a skilled Carpenter (Furniture Factory) to manufacture, assemble, repair, and finish high-quality furniture products according to production standards and design specifications. The candidate will be responsible for cutting wood materials, operating woodworking machines, assembling furniture components, polishing surfaces, and ensuring excellent craftsmanship in finished products. The ideal candidate should have practical carpentry experience, attention to detail, and knowledge of furniture production techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Cut, shape, and prepare wood, plywood, MDF, and other materials according to measurements
✔ Operate woodworking machines such as saws, cutters, drills, sanders, and finishing equipment safely
✔ Assemble furniture parts including tables, chairs, cabinets, wardrobes, and custom furniture items
✔ Install fittings such as hinges, handles, locks, rails, and decorative components
✔ Perform sanding, polishing, varnishing, laminating, and finishing work for high-quality output
✔ Inspect finished products for design accuracy, strength, and surface quality
✔ Repair damaged furniture components and perform touch-up finishing when required
✔ Maintain tools, machinery, and workshop equipment properly
✔ Follow factory safety procedures and production schedules
✔ Work closely with supervisors and design teams to meet manufacturing targets
Requirements:
✔ 2–5 years of experience in carpentry / furniture manufacturing
✔ Knowledge of wood cutting, assembly, finishing, and furniture making techniques
✔ Ability to read design drawings, measurements, and production instructions
✔ Experience using hand tools and woodworking machines
✔ Attention to detail and strong craftsmanship skills
✔ Ability to work in factory production environments
✔ Physically fit for workshop-based work
