PORR Construct is hiring Road Construction Workers for infrastructure and highway development projects in Romania. We are looking for dedicated, physically fit, and skilled workers who have experience in road construction activities such as ground preparation, asphalt laying support, road maintenance, and operating basic construction tools. Candidates should be able to work in outdoor conditions and follow strict safety guidelines on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in road building, highway construction, and maintenance work
  • Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and leveling surfaces
  • Support asphalt paving, concrete laying, and compaction activities
  • Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely
  • Install road signs, barriers, drainage systems, and road markings
  • Load and unload construction materials at the worksite
  • Follow project plans and supervisor instructions accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety at the construction site
  • Work with team members to complete projects on schedule

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in road construction or civil work
  • Knowledge of construction tools, machinery, and safety procedures
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments under different weather conditions
  • Basic English communication skills preferred
  • Team player with a hardworking attitude
  • Experience in asphalt, paving, or concrete road work is an advantage
  • Driving license is a plus
