General Practitioner Doctor
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate General Practitioner (GP) Doctor to provide comprehensive primary medical care to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat common illnesses, manage chronic conditions, promote preventive healthcare, and ensure high standards of patient care in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and medical assessments
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Provide preventive care, health education, and lifestyle counseling
- Refer patients to specialists when required
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
- Handle medical emergencies and provide first-line care
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, infection control, and safety standards
- Coordinate with nurses, specialists, and support staff
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical audit activities
Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution
- Valid MOH / DHA / HAAD medical license or eligibility
- 2–5 years of experience as a General Practitioner
- Strong clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient-care abilities
- Ethical, professional, and patient-focused approach
Preferred Skills
- Experience in UAE hospitals or clinics
- Knowledge of EMR systems and clinical documentation
- BLS / ACLS certification
- Multilingual skills (English mandatory; Arabic or other languages an advantage)
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends or on-call duties
