Web Developer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality websites and web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a passion for clean code, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional, user-friendly digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and backend teams to implement web solutions
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Ensure website performance, security, and cross-browser compatibility
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues
- Integrate APIs, third-party tools, and CMS platforms
- Maintain and update existing websites and web applications
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred)
- 2–5 years of experience in web development
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Proficiency in backend technologies like PHP, Node.js, or Python
- Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Laravel, Django, or other modern frameworks
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization
- Experience with cloud hosting and deployment (AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Understanding of UI/UX principles
- Experience working in the UAE or GCC market is an advantage
