Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist in Internal Medicine to join our healthcare team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will provide advanced medical care, diagnose and manage complex internal diseases, coordinate treatment with specialists, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

This role is suited for professionals who have strong diagnostic skills, excellent clinical judgment, and a patient-centered approach to healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of internal medical conditions (cardiac, respiratory, endocrine, gastrointestinal, chronic diseases, etc.)
• Manage complex and long-term illnesses including hypertension, diabetes, infections, and autoimmune diseases
• Conduct detailed patient assessments, medical histories, and physical examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, ECGs, etc.)
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans and prescribe medications
• Coordinate with subspecialists for advanced patient care when necessary
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment based on clinical response
• Handle emergency and acute medical conditions professionally
• Maintain accurate medical records using EMR systems
• Adhere to Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations and hospital policies
• Participate in medical case discussions, quality improvement, and CME activities

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

• MBBS + MD / DNB / Board Certification in Internal Medicine
• Additional fellowship or subspecialty training (optional but an advantage)

Licensing Requirements:

• Valid DHA Specialist License or DHA Eligibility Letter (Mandatory)
• Candidates willing to process licensing may also apply

Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization clinical experience
• Strong experience in managing chronic and acute internal medicine cases
• Prior hospital/clinic experience in the UAE is an advantage (not mandatory)

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent clinical & diagnostic abilities
• Strong decision-making and emergency handling skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English; Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is an advantage
