Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to lead the development, customization, and optimization of high-performance WordPress websites. The ideal candidate will handle complex projects, ensure best coding practices, and collaborate with designers, SEO teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced WordPress websites and applications
  • Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements
  • Develop custom themes, plugins, and functionalities
  • Optimize website performance, security, and scalability
  • Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Integrate third-party APIs, CRMs, and payment gateways
  • Implement SEO-friendly structures and best practices
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing maintenance and support
  • Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, marketers, and project managers
  • Maintain documentation and version control (Git)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
  • 5–8 years of hands-on experience with WordPress development
  • Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Experience with custom theme and plugin development
  • Deep understanding of WordPress core, hooks, and REST API
  • Experience with page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery)
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working with UAE or international clients
