Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage advanced network security solutions. The ideal candidate will protect enterprise networks from cyber threats, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead security initiatives that support business continuity and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage network security architecture and solutions
  • Configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure network gateways
  • Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and lead incident response activities
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits
  • Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures
  • Collaborate with IT, cloud, and compliance teams to secure infrastructure and applications
  • Lead security upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Mentor junior security and network engineers
  • Maintain detailed documentation, security reports, and risk assessments
  • Stay updated with emerging cyber threats, tools, and best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • 6–10 years of experience in network and security engineering roles
  • Strong expertise in firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Check Point, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security architectures
  • Hands-on experience with IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, and security monitoring
  • Strong incident response and threat analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent
  • Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust and advanced security frameworks
  • Familiarity with UAE or GCC cybersecurity regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to lead projects and work in high-pressure environments
