Security Guard
Job Description
We are hiring disciplined and reliable Security Guards to protect property, staff, and visitors by maintaining a safe and secure environment. The ideal candidate should be observant, proactive, and able to handle security operations efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor premises, entry/exit gates, and security checkpoints
- Conduct routine patrolling of site areas to identify potential safety issues
- Screen visitors, verify IDs, and manage access control procedures
- Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance equipment
- Handle emergencies such as fire alarms, theft, accidents, or disturbances
- Report suspicious activities and maintain accurate incident logs
- Guide employees, residents, and guests when required
- Ensure compliance with security policies and health & safety regulations
- Support evacuation procedures and emergency drills
Requirements
- High School Certificate or equivalent
- Experience in security industry (UAE experience preferred)
- SIRA / PSBD / DPS certificate is an added advantage
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
- Ability to work in rotational shifts including weekends & nights
- Basic computer knowledge for report writing
- Fluency in English; additional languages like Arabic/Hindi/Urdu preferred
- Presentable and professional appearance
