Packaging Machine Operator
Job Description
A reputed manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceutical, or FMCG company in Romania is hiring a skilled Packaging Machine Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain automated packaging machinery used for packing finished products safely and efficiently. The candidate will be responsible for setting up machines, adjusting packaging parameters, monitoring production lines, checking packaging quality, and ensuring smooth machine operation according to company standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in machine handling, production line operations, and quality control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Operate automatic and semi-automatic packaging machines efficiently
✔ Set machine parameters for filling, sealing, wrapping, labeling, and packing products
✔ Monitor packaging lines to ensure smooth and continuous production
✔ Inspect packaged products for sealing quality, labeling accuracy, and packaging standards
✔ Refill packaging materials such as cartons, wrappers, labels, and sealing materials
✔ Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance of machines
✔ Troubleshoot minor machine faults and report technical issues promptly
✔ Maintain production records and machine operation logs
✔ Follow workplace hygiene, safety, and operational procedures
✔ Work closely with production and quality control teams to meet daily targets
Requirements:
✔ 1–3 years of experience in packaging machine operation / production line work
✔ Knowledge of automated packaging systems and machine controls
✔ Ability to handle machine adjustments, setup, and basic troubleshooting
✔ Understanding of packaging quality standards and safety protocols
✔ Good attention to detail and machine monitoring skills
✔ Ability to work in rotating shifts / fast-paced production environments
✔ Basic technical or vocational training is preferred
