IT System & Network Admin
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dependable IT System & Network Admin to manage, maintain, and secure the organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure high system availability, network reliability, data security, and efficient IT operations while providing technical support to users.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and IT systems
- Administer LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks
- Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, user accounts, and permissions
- Monitor system and network performance, ensuring uptime and security
- Implement and maintain backups, disaster recovery, and security policies
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot system and network issues
- Manage IT assets, licenses, and infrastructure documentation
- Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and service providers
- Perform system updates, patches, and infrastructure upgrades
- Support cloud services, virtualization, and remote access systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3–6 years of experience in system and network administration
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking devices
- Familiarity with firewall configuration, VPNs, and network security
- Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in UAE or GCC IT environments
- Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, or equivalent
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Good communication and coordination skills
