Hardware And Networking Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Hardware & Networking Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, network systems, and related IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure reliable system performance, network connectivity, and prompt technical support for end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues related to systems, printers, and network devices
- Set up and manage LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi networks
- Perform network troubleshooting and resolve connectivity issues
- Install and maintain operating systems, software, and drivers
- Provide technical support to users and resolve IT tickets
- Maintain IT asset inventory and hardware documentation
- Assist with server setup, backups, and system maintenance
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Hardware, Networking, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in hardware and networking roles
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking basics, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and network cabling
- Familiarity with Windows OS, basic server concepts, and networking protocols
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
- Experience in UAE or GCC IT environments
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, or equivalent
- Knowledge of server administration and virtualization (basic level)
- Understanding of IT security principles
- Good communication and documentation skills
