Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Hardware and Networking Engineer to install, maintain, and support computer hardware systems and network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth IT operations by managing hardware components, troubleshooting network issues, and providing reliable technical support across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, servers, printers, and peripheral devices
  • Design, implement, and support LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructures
  • Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and network equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, network, and connectivity issues
  • Perform system upgrades, replacements, and preventive maintenance
  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Implement basic network security measures, backups, and access controls
  • Maintain documentation for hardware inventory, network diagrams, and configurations
  • Provide technical support to users and resolve IT incidents
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement and warranty support

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in hardware and networking support or engineering roles
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking concepts, and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and structured cabling
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and basic network security
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent
  • Experience with server hardware and virtualization technologies
  • Knowledge of CCTV, access control, and IP telephony systems
  • Experience working in UAE or GCC IT environments
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
