Job Description

A reputable construction and interior finishing company is hiring skilled and hardworking Gypsum Workers for drywall installation, ceiling fixing, partition work, gypsum board finishing, and interior decoration projects. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in gypsum board installation, false ceiling work, wall partition systems, surface finishing, and interior construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install gypsum boards, drywall panels, false ceilings, and partition wall systems according to project requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, and fix gypsum materials using proper construction tools and equipment
  • Perform ceiling framework installation, metal channel fixing, and gypsum panel alignment work
  • Apply joint compounds, plaster, sanding, and finishing materials for smooth wall and ceiling surfaces
  • Read basic construction drawings and follow installation layouts accurately
  • Repair damaged gypsum ceilings, partitions, and drywall structures when required
  • Operate cutting tools, drills, screw guns, grinders, and finishing equipment safely
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and handle gypsum materials properly
  • Follow workplace safety standards and interior construction procedures
  • Coordinate with painters, electricians, carpenters, and site supervisors for smooth project execution

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Gypsum Worker / Drywall Installer / Ceiling Technician preferred
  • Basic knowledge of gypsum installation, false ceiling systems, and interior finishing techniques
  • Ability to use gypsum installation tools and finishing equipment safely
  • Physically fit for lifting materials and working at heights when required
  • Basic English communication skills preferred
  • Team player with strong work ethic and attention to finishing quality
  • Experience in residential, commercial, or interior construction projects is an advantage
