Glass Cutter (with Mower)

Job Description

A reputed glass manufacturing or construction materials company in Romania is hiring a skilled Glass Cutter (with Mower) to cut, shape, trim, and process glass sheets according to production specifications and customer requirements. The candidate will be responsible for operating glass cutting machines, handling precision measuring tools, smoothing glass edges, and ensuring high-quality finishing while following workplace safety standards. Experience in manual and machine-assisted glass cutting is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Measure and mark glass sheets accurately according to design specifications
✔ Operate glass cutting machines, trimming tools, and edge-finishing equipment
✔ Cut glass panels into required shapes and sizes with precision
✔ Smooth sharp edges using grinding / polishing equipment for safe handling
✔ Inspect glass for cracks, defects, and cutting accuracy before final processing
✔ Load and unload glass materials carefully to avoid breakage
✔ Maintain cutting tools, machinery, and workstations in proper condition
✔ Follow safety procedures while handling sharp glass materials and cutting equipment
✔ Assist in packaging and preparing finished glass products for dispatch
✔ Coordinate with production teams to meet daily output targets

Requirements:

✔ 1–3 years of experience in glass cutting / glass processing preferred
✔ Knowledge of manual glass cutting and automated cutting machines
✔ Ability to read measurements and production drawings accurately
✔ Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
✔ Understanding of workplace safety standards for handling glass
✔ Physically fit for factory / production work
✔ Basic technical training is an advantage

Salary & Benefits:

💶 Salary: €850 – €1000 / Month
