Excavator Technicians

Job Description

A reputable construction and heavy equipment services company is hiring skilled and experienced Excavator Technicians for heavy machinery maintenance, hydraulic system repair, excavator servicing, and equipment troubleshooting operations. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining excavators and other heavy construction equipment used in infrastructure and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain excavators and heavy construction machinery
• Perform preventive maintenance including oil changes, filter replacement, lubrication, and hydraulic servicing
• Troubleshoot engine, hydraulic, electrical, transmission, and mechanical faults in excavators
• Repair hydraulic pumps, cylinders, hoses, motors, and control systems
• Conduct machine inspections and identify equipment performance issues for corrective action
• Read technical manuals, maintenance diagrams, and equipment service instructions
• Replace damaged machine parts, electrical components, bearings, seals, and hydraulic fittings
• Test repaired equipment to ensure safe and efficient machine performance
• Maintain maintenance records, repair reports, and spare parts inventory details
• Follow workshop safety standards and maintain cleanliness in maintenance areas

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Excavator Technician / Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Hydraulic Technician
• Strong knowledge of excavator hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and heavy equipment maintenance
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems in construction machinery
• Experience using workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair machinery
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and hydraulic troubleshooting
• Physically fit for workshop and field repair activities
• Basic English communication skills preferred
• Team player with strong technical skills and safety awareness
• Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo, Hyundai, or JCB equipment is an advantage
