Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic English Tutor to help students improve their English language proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The ideal candidate will deliver personalized instruction, support academic progress, and build students’ confidence in English communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one or group English tutoring sessions
  • Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading comprehension, and writing skills
  • Support students with school curriculum, assignments, and exam preparation
  • Develop customized lesson plans based on student level and learning goals
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Improve students’ spoken English and communication skills
  • Prepare students for exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, or school assessments (if applicable)
  • Maintain lesson records and progress reports
  • Encourage a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians (for school-age students)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
  • 1–4 years of experience as an English Tutor or English Teacher
  • Strong command of spoken and written English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
  • Patient, supportive, and student-focused approach

Preferred Skills

  • Experience teaching school students or adult learners
  • Familiarity with British, CBSE, IB, or American curriculum
  • Experience with online teaching platforms and digital tools
  • IELTS / TOEFL / TESOL / TEFL certification
  • Experience in UAE education or tutoring environment
