Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Digital Product Manager to lead the development and growth of our digital banking/insurance products in Dubai. The ideal candidate will own the product lifecycle — from ideation and roadmap planning to launch, monitoring, and continuous improvement — while ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define, plan, and own the digital product roadmap for banking/insurance products (online banking portals, mobile apps, digital insurance platforms, etc.).
- User & Market Research: Gather and analyze customer requirements, market trends, competitor products, and regulatory/industry developments to shape product direction.
- Product Development & Delivery: Work closely with cross-functional teams (IT/engineering, UX/UI, operations, compliance) to design, build, and launch digital products and enhancements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business banking, retail banking, insurance operations, risk/compliance, marketing, and customer‑service teams to ensure product meets business, regulatory, and customer expectations.
- Product Performance & Improvement: Monitor product performance, usage metrics, customer feedback; iterate and enhance product features for better user experience and business outcomes.
- Digital Transformation & Innovation: Drive digital initiatives — migrating traditional banking/insurance products to digital platforms, introducing new digital features, ensuring fintech‑best practices, and championing digital transformation.
- Regulatory & Compliance Awareness: Work within regulatory frameworks relevant to banking/insurance in UAE — ensure digital products meet compliance, security, and data‑protection standards.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare regular reports on product performance, KPIs, roadmap progress, market insights, and strategic recommendations for senior management.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Insurance, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience: 3–7 years (or more) of product‑management experience in banking, insurance, fintech, or financial-services sector; experience with digital banking/insurance products is strongly preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of banking/insurance operations, digital banking/insurtech products, and financial services market.
- Product‑management skills: roadmap planning, product lifecycle management, user research, stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, digital product development, UX/UI collaboration, analytics/metrics-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical mindset, ability to interpret data, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Personal Attributes: Strategic thinker, proactive, customer‑centric, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple stakeholders.
- Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic or other languages is a plus.
- Other: Knowledge of regulatory requirements in UAE banking/insurance domain is advantageous; experience with compliance, security, and data‑protection standards is a plus.
