Creative Script Writer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and imaginative Creative Script Writer to develop compelling scripts for videos, advertisements, digital campaigns, and branded content. The ideal candidate will transform ideas into engaging stories that connect with audiences, reflect brand identity, and drive emotional and commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Write original scripts for commercials, digital videos, social media, reels, and short films
• Collaborate with creative directors, content producers, and marketing teams
• Develop storyboards, concepts, and creative treatments
• Adapt scripts for different platforms, formats, and audience segments
• Ensure scripts align with brand tone, messaging, and campaign objectives
• Edit and refine scripts based on feedback and production requirements
• Conduct research to support storytelling accuracy and relevance
• Participate in creative brainstorming and concept development sessions
• Work closely with video production teams during filming and post-production

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, Film, Media, Communications, or related field
• 2–6 years of experience in scriptwriting for media, advertising, or digital content
• Strong storytelling, dialogue, and narrative structure skills
• Excellent command of written English (Arabic is a plus)
• Ability to write for different tones, audiences, and formats
• Portfolio of scripts or produced work (mandatory)

Preferred Skills

• Experience writing for digital ads, social media, and branded content
• Understanding of visual storytelling and pacing
• Knowledge of video production processes
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Experience in UAE or GCC market (preferred)
• Arabic scriptwriting skills (a strong plus)
