Job Description

Klimat Engineering is hiring skilled and experienced AC Technicians for installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of air conditioning and HVAC systems in Bulgaria. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in split AC installation, central cooling systems, ventilation systems, refrigeration units, and troubleshooting electrical/mechanical faults across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, and maintain air conditioning, ventilation, and HVAC systems
  • Perform servicing, gas charging, refrigerant leak detection, and cooling performance testing
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, compressor, thermostat, and mechanical faults in AC units
  • Install ducting systems, copper piping, drainage lines, and insulation materials
  • Conduct preventive maintenance checks on compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems
  • Read HVAC drawings, technical manuals, and installation layouts
  • Perform filter cleaning, coil servicing, and airflow balancing for efficient system performance
  • Use testing tools such as manifold gauges, vacuum pumps, multimeters, leak detectors, and charging equipment safely
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, refrigerant handling procedures, and company policies
  • Coordinate with electricians, site engineers, and maintenance teams for smooth project execution

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as an AC Technician / HVAC Technician / Refrigeration Technician
  • Strong knowledge of cooling systems, refrigeration cycles, and HVAC maintenance
  • Experience with split AC, VRF/VRV systems, duct AC, chillers, and ventilation systems is an advantage
  • Ability to read technical drawings and HVAC schematics
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge preferred
  • Physically fit for installation and maintenance work
  • Basic English communication skills preferred
  • Team player with strong work ethic and safety awareness
