Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure all electrical work is completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with UAE electrical standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
- Diagnose electrical faults and perform corrective repairs
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and technical diagrams
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies
- Install and maintain lighting systems, power outlets, and control panels
- Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergency repairs
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe working condition
- Prepare job reports and maintenance documentation
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical or equivalent qualification
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience as an Electrician
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with electrical safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Physically fit and able to work in different site conditions
Preferred Skills
- Experience in UAE or GCC projects
- Knowledge of LV/MV systems and building maintenance
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Basic communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
