General Practitioner Doctor
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and DHA-licensed General Practitioner (GP) Doctor to provide comprehensive primary medical care to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, promote preventive healthcare, and work collaboratively with specialists and healthcare staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and medical assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Provide preventive care, health education, and lifestyle counseling
- Manage common medical emergencies and stabilize patients when required
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests and diagnostic reports
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records (EMR)
- Refer patients to specialists or hospitals when necessary
- Ensure compliance with DHA regulations and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and allied healthcare professionals
Required Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Valid DHA license or DHA eligibility (mandatory)
- Minimum 2–5 years of clinical experience as a GP
- Strong knowledge of general medicine and primary healthcare
- Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and decision-making skills
- Good communication and patient-management abilities
- Ethical, professional, and patient-focused approach
Preferred Skills
- Experience in clinics, hospitals, or urgent care settings
- Multilingual (English required; Arabic is an advantage)
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
