DHA Registered School Doctor
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and DHA-licensed School Doctor to provide comprehensive medical care and health supervision for students and staff within a school environment. The ideal candidate will promote student well-being, manage medical cases, ensure compliance with UAE health regulations, and support a safe and healthy school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical consultations and first aid to students and staff
- Conduct health assessments, screenings, and medical examinations
- Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies
- Maintain accurate medical records and student health files
- Monitor and manage chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, allergies)
- Administer medications as prescribed and authorized
- Ensure compliance with DHA, KHDA, and school health policies
- Implement infection control and health safety protocols
- Advise school management on health-related matters and policies
- Coordinate with nurses, counselors, teachers, and parents
- Refer students to hospitals or specialists when required
- Participate in health awareness programs and vaccinations (if applicable)
Required Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Valid DHA license (mandatory)
- Minimum 2–5 years of clinical experience (school or pediatric experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of pediatric and adolescent healthcare
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and professionally
- Compassionate, responsible, and child-friendly approach
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience as a School Doctor or in Pediatrics / Family Medicine
- Knowledge of UAE school health regulations (DHA / KHDA)
- Multilingual (English required; Arabic is an advantage)
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
