Specialist Radiology
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Radiologist to join our advanced medical imaging department in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting diagnostic imaging studies, assisting in radiology procedures, and providing accurate, timely medical assessments to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
You will work in a modern hospital/clinic environment with access to advanced radiology equipment including MRI, CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound, and Mammography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and report imaging studies such as MRI, CT scan, X-Ray, Ultrasound, and Mammography
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to provide radiologic insights for diagnosis and treatment
- Perform and supervise radiology procedures as required
- Ensure high-quality imaging and accuracy of diagnostic reports
- Maintain patient records and document findings in EMR
- Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
- Provide urgent imaging interpretations for emergency cases
- Guide technicians and junior staff regarding imaging techniques and protocols
- Participate in clinical meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement programs
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations
Job Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- MBBS + MD / DNB / FRCR / Equivalent Specialty Qualification in Radiology
- Additional fellowship training (optional but an advantage)
Licensing Requirements:
- Valid DHA Specialist License or DHA Eligibility Letter (Mandatory)
- Candidates willing to process DHA licensing may also apply
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience
- Strong experience in MRI, CT, and Ultrasound interpretation
- Experience in interventional radiology is an advantage (optional)
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and radiology safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Fluency in English; Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is an advantage
