Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Logistics Manager to oversee and manage all logistics, warehouse, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling the movement, storage, and distribution of materials and finished goods. Strong leadership skills, vendor management experience, and expertise in logistics optimization are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and coordinate the end-to-end logistics operations, including shipping, warehousing, and distribution
  • Develop cost-effective and efficient transportation and logistics strategies
  • Manage import & export processes, customs clearance, and documentation
  • Supervise logistics team, warehouse operations, drivers, and external transport partners
  • Negotiate contracts and rates with freight forwarders, carriers, and transport companies
  • Monitor shipment schedules, delivery timelines, and resolve logistics concerns
  • Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations, safety standards, and company policies
  • Oversee stock management, inventory accuracy, and warehouse optimization
  • Implement ERP/logistics software and maintain reports on logistics performance
  • Control logistics budgets, cost reduction initiatives, and process improvements
  • Prepare logistics planning, forecasting, and KPI reports for management
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, government authorities, and internal departments

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or similar field
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in logistics operations, including 3+ years in a supervisory/managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, import/export, customs clearance & freight negotiation
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/logistics software systems
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic/Hindi will be an advantage
  • UAE market experience preferred
