Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Education Counsellor to guide students in selecting the right courses, programs, and career paths. The ideal candidate will provide personalized counseling, support the admission process, and help students make informed educational decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to students and parents regarding educational programs, career options, and admission procedures.
  • Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to understand student interests, strengths, and goals.
  • Assist students in selecting suitable courses, universities, or training programs.
  • Guide students through application processes, documentation, and admission requirements.
  • Conduct workshops, seminars, and informational sessions for students and parents.
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions and counseling sessions.
  • Stay updated on educational programs, scholarships, and admission policies locally and internationally.
  • Collaborate with academic institutions, testing centers, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor student progress and provide ongoing support and follow-up guidance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in education counseling, student guidance, or related roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of educational programs, universities, and career pathways.
  • Ability to build rapport with students and parents.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and student management software.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with international education systems and university admissions.
  • Knowledge of scholarship programs and standardized testing requirements.
  • Counseling certifications or training is a plus.
  • Multilingual abilities are an advantage.
