Job Description

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Software Developer to join our team in Umm Al Quwain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that meet business requirements. This role requires strong programming skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy software applications based on project specifications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Maintain and update existing applications to improve functionality and fix bugs.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and services as required.
  • Ensure software meets industry standards, security requirements, and best practices.
  • Prepare technical documentation and user guides.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in software development or a related role.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
  • Experience with database technologies (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with frameworks such as .NET, React, Angular, Django, or Spring Boot.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
  • Experience in mobile app development (iOS/Android) is a plus.
  • Understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
