HVAC Technician

Job Description

A reputed construction, facility management, or industrial services company in Bulgaria is hiring a skilled HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting system faults, performing preventive maintenance, ensuring efficient cooling and heating performance, and maintaining energy-efficient HVAC operations. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical controls.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Install HVAC systems including air conditioners, ventilation units, and heating systems
✔ Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and inspection of HVAC equipment
✔ Diagnose and repair system faults in compressors, condensers, evaporators, and thermostats
✔ Check refrigerant levels, gas pressure, and cooling efficiency of systems
✔ Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, fans, belts, filters, and wiring
✔ Read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and HVAC system layouts
✔ Conduct testing, commissioning, and performance checks after installation or repair
✔ Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and energy efficiency standards
✔ Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and inspection reports
✔ Coordinate with site engineers, facility managers, and maintenance teams

Requirements:

✔ 2–5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician / AC Technician
✔ Diploma or certification in HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical systems preferred
✔ Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, air conditioning systems, and ventilation systems
✔ Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC faults
✔ Experience using HVAC tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment
✔ Understanding of safety standards and refrigerant handling procedures
✔ Good problem-solving and technical skills
✔ Physically fit for field and installation work
