Job Description

Construcții Erbașu is hiring experienced Shuttering Carpenters for large-scale building, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects in Romania. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and installing formwork systems for concrete structures such as columns, beams, slabs, walls, and foundations. Candidates should be skilled in reading construction drawings, measuring accurately, and working safely on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, assemble, and install wooden or metal formwork / shuttering systems
  • Prepare molds for concrete foundations, columns, slabs, beams, and walls
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, measurements, and technical plans
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble shuttering materials accurately
  • Install supports, braces, and temporary structures for concrete pouring
  • Remove formwork after concrete curing and prepare materials for reuse
  • Inspect formwork for alignment, strength, and safety before concrete pouring
  • Operate carpentry tools, cutting machines, and construction equipment safely
  • Maintain worksite cleanliness and follow all safety procedures
  • Coordinate with steel fixers, concrete workers, and supervisors for smooth project execution

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Shuttering Carpenter / Formwork Carpenter
  • Strong knowledge of formwork systems, concrete casting, and structural support methods
  • Ability to read construction drawings and technical measurements
  • Experience using carpentry tools, cutting machines, and construction equipment
  • Physically fit for heavy construction work
  • Basic English communication skills preferred
  • Team player with strong work ethic and safety awareness
  • Experience in commercial / infrastructure projects is an advantage
  • Valid driving license is a plus
