Job Description

MEXI Steel is hiring experienced Steel Fabricators for structural steel production and fabrication projects in Romania. The company specializes in light steel framing systems, galvanized steel profiles, and structural steel solutions for industrial, commercial, and residential construction projects across Europe.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in cutting, shaping, assembling, and fabricating steel components according to technical drawings and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cut, shape, and fabricate steel components according to engineering drawings
  • Assemble beams, frames, brackets, and steel structures accurately
  • Operate fabrication machines, grinders, drills, and cutting tools safely
  • Assist in welding preparation, fitting, and steel component assembly
  • Measure and inspect fabricated parts for quality and dimensional accuracy
  • Read and interpret fabrication blueprints and technical specifications
  • Maintain tools, machines, and workshop equipment properly
  • Follow workplace safety standards and manufacturing procedures
  • Coordinate with production and installation teams for project completion

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Steel Fabricator / Metal Fabricator
  • Good knowledge of steel cutting, fitting, and fabrication techniques
  • Ability to read technical drawings and measurements
  • Experience using fabrication tools and industrial machinery
  • Welding knowledge is an added advantage
  • Physically fit for workshop / industrial work
  • Basic English communication skills preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork attitude
  • Valid driving license is a plus
