Auto Mechanic – Visteon Bulgaria

Job Description

Visteon Bulgaria is seeking experienced and skilled Auto Mechanics to join its automotive maintenance and technical service operations in Bulgaria. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics, engine repair, brake servicing, suspension work, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Successful candidates will receive company-provided accommodation and transportation.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake servicing, tire replacement, battery checks, and engine tune-ups.
• Repair engines, transmission systems, steering systems, cooling systems, and suspension components.
• Use computerized diagnostic tools to identify and resolve technical faults efficiently.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve vehicle performance.
• Test repaired vehicles to ensure safety and operational standards are met.
• Maintain service logs, workshop records, and repair documentation.
• Follow company workshop safety standards and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician.
• Strong knowledge of engine systems, brakes, electrical wiring, and automotive diagnostics.
• Ability to use automotive workshop tools and computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Physically fit and able to work in workshop environments.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Diploma / ITI / Vocational training in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Repair.
• Experience working with passenger vehicles, fleet vehicles, or commercial vehicles is preferred.
• Knowledge of computerized diagnostics is an advantage.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Familiarity with European automotive safety standards.
