Auto Mechanic – Johnson Controls Electronics

Job Description

Johnson Controls Electronics Bulgaria is seeking experienced and skilled Auto Mechanics to join its automotive maintenance and technical service operations in Bulgaria. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics, engine repair, brake servicing, suspension systems, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Successful candidates will receive company-provided accommodation and transportation.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake servicing, tire replacement, battery checks, and engine tune-ups.
• Repair engines, transmission systems, steering systems, cooling systems, and suspension components.
• Use computerized diagnostic tools to identify and resolve technical faults efficiently.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve vehicle performance.
• Test repaired vehicles to ensure safety and operational standards are met.
• Maintain workshop records, repair logs, and service documentation.
• Follow company workshop safety standards and maintenance procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, engine repair, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to use workshop tools and computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Physically fit and able to work in workshop environments.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Diploma / ITI / Vocational training in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Repair.
• Experience with fleet vehicles, passenger vehicles, or industrial transport vehicles is preferred.
• Knowledge of computerized vehicle diagnostics is an advantage.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Familiarity with European automotive safety standards.
