Auto Mechanic – Auto Union JSC

Job Description

Auto Union JSC is seeking experienced and skilled Auto Mechanics to join its automotive service and vehicle maintenance operations in Bulgaria. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics, engine repair, brake servicing, suspension work, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance for passenger and commercial vehicles. Successful candidates will receive company-provided accommodation and transportation.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake servicing, tire replacement, engine tune-ups, and battery checks.
• Repair engines, transmissions, steering systems, cooling systems, and suspension components.
• Use computerized diagnostic tools to identify and resolve technical faults efficiently.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to improve vehicle performance and reduce downtime.
• Test repaired vehicles to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
• Maintain workshop service logs, repair records, and inspection reports.
• Follow company workshop safety standards and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, engine repair, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to use automotive workshop tools and computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Physically fit and able to work in workshop environments.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Diploma / ITI / Vocational training in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Repair.
• Experience working with European passenger vehicles or fleet maintenance is preferred.
• Basic computerized diagnostics knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Familiarity with European workshop safety standards.
