Job Description

AMPECO is seeking experienced and skilled Auto Mechanics to join its automotive maintenance and technical service operations in Bulgaria. The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in vehicle diagnostics, engine repair, brake servicing, suspension work, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive vehicle maintenance. Successful candidates will receive company-provided accommodation and transportation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect vehicles and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately.
  • Perform routine servicing including oil changes, brake servicing, battery checks, tire replacement, and engine tune-ups.
  • Repair engines, transmission systems, steering systems, cooling systems, and suspension components.
  • Use computerized diagnostic tools to identify and resolve technical faults efficiently.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Test repaired vehicles to confirm safety and performance standards are met.
  • Maintain workshop records, service logs, and repair documentation.
  • Follow company workshop safety standards and maintenance procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician.
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, engine repair, and electrical components.
  • Ability to operate workshop tools and computerized diagnostic equipment.
  • Physically fit and able to work in automotive workshop environments.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Diploma / ITI / Vocational training in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Repair.
  • Experience working with modern passenger vehicles or fleet maintenance is preferred.
  • Knowledge of computerized vehicle diagnostics is an advantage.
  • Ability to work overtime when required.
  • Familiarity with European automotive safety standards.
