Chemistry and Biology Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Chemistry and Biology Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in secondary or higher secondary education. The ideal candidate will inspire students through engaging lessons, promote scientific thinking, and ensure strong academic outcomes in line with curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Chemistry and Biology subjects according to approved curriculum and academic standards
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans and practical sessions
• Conduct laboratory experiments while ensuring safety and proper lab procedures
• Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and practical evaluations
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and academic reports
• Support students with additional learning needs and exam preparation
• Participate in curriculum development and academic planning
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents and school management
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related science field
• Teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent preferred)
• 2–5 years of teaching experience (school or college level)
• Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry and Biology
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students

Preferred Skills

• Experience teaching CBSE, British, IB, or American curriculum
• Familiarity with laboratory safety standards and practical assessments
• Experience in UAE schools
• Knowledge of digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology
• Multilingual skills (English mandatory; Arabic an advantage)
