Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications for our organization in Umm Al Quwain. The ideal candidate will have strong coding skills, a good eye for design, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver user-friendly, responsive, and high-performance web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain websites and web applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
  • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to implement website features.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues on websites and applications.
  • Ensure websites are responsive, cross-browser compatible, and optimized for performance.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and services as required.
  • Maintain and update existing websites to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Ensure adherence to website security protocols and best practices.
  • Prepare technical documentation and support materials for websites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in web development or related role.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Experience with backend development using PHP, Node.js, Python, or similar languages.
  • Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive web design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
  • Familiarity with web hosting, domain management, and cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for web development.
  • Understanding of web security standards and protocols.
