Strcutural fitter
Job Description
We are seeking experienced and skilled Structural Fitters to assemble, fit, and install structural steel components in construction and industrial projects. You will work with beams, columns, frames, and other fabricated metal parts according to blueprints and specifications, ensuring precise alignment and high‑quality workmanship. The company provides accommodation and transportation for successful candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Measure, cut, position, and align structural steel parts with accuracy.
- Fit and tack components for welding, bolting, or riveting.
- Work with hand and power tools (grinders, saws, levels, etc.) safely and effectively.
- Ensure all components are secured before final assembly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Report any quality issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Structural Fitter or similar role in construction or fabrication.
- Ability to read and work with blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in fitting and assembly.
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials and work at heights.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Vocational training, trade certification, or relevant technical education.
- Experience working on oil & gas, industrial, or large‑scale construction projects.
- Knowledge of HSE and UAE site safety standards.
- Ability to work extended hours and travel between project sites.
