Senior IT Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Senior IT Associate to manage, maintain, and enhance our IT infrastructure and systems. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth IT operations, provide technical support, and implement solutions that improve efficiency and security across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software systems.
• Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT problems efficiently.
• Implement and monitor IT security measures to protect company data and systems.
• Assist in planning, installing, and upgrading IT systems and networks.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers for IT procurement and maintenance.
• Document IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Train and guide junior IT staff and end-users on technology best practices.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in IT operations, support, or system administration.
• Strong knowledge of networks, servers, operating systems, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection measures.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in IT project management or system implementation.
• Knowledge of enterprise IT environments, virtualization, and backup solutions.
• Certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, or ITIL are a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple IT tasks simultaneously.
