Scaffolder
Job Description
We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious Scaffolders to assemble, erect, modify, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding structures at various construction project sites. Scaffolders play a crucial role in providing safe elevated working platforms and access to workers in building, maintenance, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to project plans and safety standards Careers Page
- Inspect scaffold components and structures regularly to ensure stability and safety Careers Page
- Measure, cut, and align scaffold tubes, planks, couplers, and fittings correctly Notopedia
- Secure working platforms with guardrails, toe boards, and safety features Notopedia
- Follow blueprints, drawings, and supervisors’ instructions for installation requirements Careers Page
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition Careers Page
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate activities Careers Page
- Adhere to all health, safety, and PPE requirements, especially when working at heights
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Scaffolder in construction or similar field Careers Page
- Physically fit and able to work at heights safely Notopedia
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or instructions (preferred) Careers Page
- Strong teamwork and communication skills Careers Page
- Commitment to following safety standards and procedures
Preferred Skills
- Certification or training in scaffolding or safety procedures
- Experience with different types of scaffolding systems (e.g., tube and fitting, systems)
- Familiarity with UAE construction site safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites
