We are hiring a skilled Procurement Officer to handle purchasing activities, vendor management, and sourcing of materials for smooth business operations. The ideal candidate must have strong negotiation skills and procurement knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify suppliers and negotiate contracts.
- Manage the purchasing of materials, products, and services.
- Prepare purchase orders and track deliveries.
- Maintain vendor records, price lists, and agreements.
- Ensure timely procurement based on project requirements.
- Compare quotations and select cost-effective options.
- Coordinate with internal departments for material needs.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder materials when needed.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- 2–4 years of procurement/purchasing experience.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Attention to detail and time management.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
