Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Network Administrator to manage and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring network stability, security, and efficiency while providing support for network-related issues and improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure optimal connectivity across all systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage and maintain network security protocols, firewalls, and access controls.
  • Perform regular updates, backups, and patch management for network devices.
  • Configure and manage LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  • Monitor network traffic, analyze system logs, and identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Implement network upgrades, expansions, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to support system integration and overall IT operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for network configuration, architecture, and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
  • Hands-on experience with network hardware (Cisco, MikroTik, Fortinet, etc.).
  • Familiarity with firewalls, VPN technologies, and network security practices.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, or equivalent.
  • Experience with server administration (Windows/Linux).
  • Knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
  • Understanding of cloud networking concepts (Azure/AWS).
  • Experience with VoIP systems or IP telephony is a plus.
