Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Lead Data Scientist to spearhead advanced analytics, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will lead data science initiatives, mentor a team of data professionals, collaborate with business units to solve complex problems, and help drive innovation through AI and predictive modeling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts
  • Define and implement data science strategy aligned with business goals
  • Design and develop advanced analytics, predictive models, and AI solutions
  • Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into data science deliverables
  • Oversee model deployment, validation, performance monitoring, and lifecycle management
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and robust documentation
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Stay updated with industry trends in AI/ML and emerging technologies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in data science or analytics, including leadership experience
  • Strong programming skills (Python, R) and familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
  • Experience building and deploying machine learning models at scale
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) and BI/visualization tools
  • Proven ability to influence business strategy through data insights
  • Previous experience in UAE or GCC markets
