We are looking for a reliable and skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team in Umm Al Quwain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth daily IT operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and IT devices.
  • Manage user accounts, access permissions, and email setups.
  • Monitor and maintain local networks, internet connectivity, and security systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and network devices.
  • Maintain IT asset records and ensure timely updates of software and security patches.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT maintenance and support.
  • Support employees with technical queries and provide user training when necessary.
  • Ensure data backup procedures and IT security policies are followed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support or technical support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking.
  • Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting (PCs, printers, routers, etc.).
  • Good understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, or cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of antivirus, firewall, and basic cybersecurity practices.
  • Familiarity with ERP or business software systems.
  • Certification such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications (optional but preferred).
