Job Description

We are seeking responsible and detail-oriented Hospital Cleaners to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control within healthcare facilities. The role is critical to ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize patient rooms, wards, corridors, and common areas
  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces according to hospital protocols
  • Clean restrooms, waiting areas, and staff facilities
  • Handle medical and general waste safely as per hospital guidelines
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly
  • Follow infection control, hygiene, and safety procedures
  • Report maintenance issues or hygiene concerns to supervisors
  • Wear and use PPE correctly at all times

Required Qualifications

  • No formal education required (basic education preferred)
  • Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Punctual, reliable, and disciplined
  • Ability to follow strict hygiene and safety standards

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in hospital or healthcare cleaning
  • Knowledge of infection control and sanitation practices
  • Awareness of HSE and healthcare safety procedures
  • Experience working in UAE or GCC healthcare facilities (preferred)
