Hard Services Team Leader
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Hard Services Team Leader to supervise and coordinate maintenance operations across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems within our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all hard services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company and statutory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities and allocate tasks to technicians and engineers.
- Monitor and ensure optimal performance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance checks.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for specialized maintenance works.
- Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations and company policies.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, breakdowns, and emergencies.
- Prepare maintenance reports, logs, and documentation for management review.
- Support the Facilities Manager in planning maintenance schedules and resource allocation.
- Train and guide junior technicians to maintain service quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in facilities management or building maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, and building management systems (BMS).
- Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with CAFM or maintenance management software is an advantage.
