Field Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Field Engineer to support on-site operations, ensure technical accuracy, and maintain quality standards across project activities. The ideal candidate will provide engineering expertise during installation, maintenance, and commissioning phases, ensuring all fieldwork is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and execute site installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure timely progress.
- Review technical drawings and specifications; identify and resolve on-site issues.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Prepare and maintain field reports, progress logs, and technical documentation.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations of systems or equipment.
- Ensure all field operations comply with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations.
- Provide technical support and recommendations for project improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering field.
- 2–5 years of field experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
- Strong technical and analytical skills with hands-on field experience.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project reporting tools.
- Knowledge of UAE safety standards and site procedures preferred.
- Valid UAE driving license (advantage).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in EPC, MEP, or energy-related projects.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong teamwork and site coordination skills.
