Facilities Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of building systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure all facilities are safe, efficient, and compliant with UAE standards while coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, HVAC, and civil works.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Manage contractors, technicians, and service providers for maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (HSE).
• Prepare reports, maintenance logs, and performance evaluations.
• Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and service requests.
• Support asset management and ensure proper documentation of systems and equipment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or MEP operations (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
• Familiarity with CAFM or maintenance management software.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.
• Valid UAE driving license (advantage).
