Data Scientist
Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Data Scientist to analyze complex datasets and develop data-driven solutions that support strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling techniques to extract insights and deliver predictive and actionable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from multiple sources
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights
- Build, train, and validate machine learning and statistical models
- Develop predictive, classification, and forecasting models
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements
- Translate complex data findings into clear insights and recommendations
- Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for stakeholders
- Optimize model performance and ensure scalability
- Document methodologies, models, and analytical processes
- Stay updated with the latest data science tools and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 3–6 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics roles
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or R
- Experience with SQL and database systems
- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and data modeling
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop)
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring
- Prior experience working in UAE or GCC markets
